From Porthmadog take the A497 Pwllheli and Criccieth road. On reaching Pentrefelin village take the first right after the green bus shelter immediately prior to the Bed and Breakfast sign. Follow the lane up the hill for 1/2 mile and turn left then right over cattle grid.

From Caernarfon take the A487 toward Porthmadog. Go through Bryncir, past the Goat Inn and Dolbenmaen. Tyddyn Iolyn is signposted on the right hand side, 3.4 miles from the Goat inn.
